The first-ever Wheaton swimmer to qualify for NCAA championships, Roberts won numerous accolades during his Wheaton career. The NEWMAC Swimmer of the Year in 2006, Roberts picked up eight NEWMAC all-conference finishes, including six NEWMAC Championships. Roberts is a three-time NCAA all-American in both the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle, while also earning three honorable mention finishes. Still holding three school records (50 freestyle, 100 freestyle, 200 freestyle), Roberts made a huge impact on the swim program at Wheaton and continues to do so as a coach. During his time coaching, he has been named NEWMAC Coach of the Year four times and has led the team to six NCAA appearances. Roberts was equally impressive in the classroom, earning two College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) all-academic (2004, 2005) honors and three-time NEWMAC academic all-conference accolades.
