The Lyons Athletic Club (LAC) raises money to support a wide range of needs and opportunities for each of Wheaton’s 26 varsity athletic teams. All gifts to the LAC are 100% tax-deductible and count toward Wheaton’s alumni participation.
All Wheaton alumni, parents, friends, and supporters are welcome and encouraged to join the LAC by making an annual gift in support of our over 400 student-athletes as they pursue athletic excellence.
How does the LAC work?
Your 100% tax-deductible gift to the Lyons Athletic Club may be directed to your favorite Wheaton team(s) or to the Unrestricted Athletics Fund in order to provide maximum investment flexibility.
Each of our 26 varsity teams has annual fundraising goals, which if met, will close the gap between Wheaton and programs with larger endowments, such as NEWMAC rivals Babson and MIT.

Yes! As stated above, support of Wheaton’s individual teams provides our coaches with the incremental funds needed to enhance their specific programs.
