Thank you for your interest in Wheaton College’s NCAA Division III varsity athletics program. Here you’ll enjoy a competitive yet supportive environment. That means you’ll train and compete at a high level with time to balance rigorous academics and other extracurricular interests. Our athletics recruiting process is selective, as coaches are looking for dedicated, hard-working student-athletes who will contribute to their teams and the campus community. Are you game?

BECOME A WHEATON LYON!

SCHOLARSHIPS AND AID

We are committed to making your education accessible and affordable. As a Division III college, we are unable to offer athletic scholarships. Instead, we award generous merit, need, and identity-based scholarships and grants that recognize academic achievement, leadership and community involvement. That is gift aid that does not need to be repaid. You may also qualify for federal and state financial aid to lower the cost of attendance even further.

Need is determined by the financial information that you and your family provide on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and CSS PROFILE application. Non-U.S. citizens seeking financial aid must complete the International Student Financial Aid Application (ISFAA). A need-based package may include a merit scholarship, grants, loans or work study award. Our Office of Student Financial Services (SFS) provides all the resources you need to plan for this important investment.

NCAA STUDENT-ATHLETE ATTESTATION REQUIREMENT

If you are recruited to play a Division III varsity sport at Wheaton, you will be required to complete the NCAA attestation form. As of 2022, the NCAA requires all incoming, continuing and transfer student-athletes to annually attest as to whether they have been disciplined through a Title IX proceeding or criminally convicted, regardless of the degree, and whether the result of a plea or court determination, of any of the following: sexual violence, interpersonal violence or other acts of violence.

If you anticipate a "positive" attestation for any part of that form, please contact Lisa Yenush at yenush_lisa@wheatoncollege.edu to discuss any potential impacts on eligibility.
