The Wheaton College Senior Female Athlete Award Winner in 2000, Mullins found space to shine in several events during her time with Wheaton Track & Field. A NEWMAC Athlete of the Year (1999) and nine-time NEWMAC all-conference honoree, Mullins earned NCAA all-America honors 12 times over the course of her career. She earned these honors both indoors and outdoors in the 400m, 4x100m, 4x400m, 4x400m relay, and long jump. She was a three-time NCAA National Champion: twice in 1998 in the 4x400m relay (indoor) and the outdoor 4x400m, and once in 2000 in the 4x400m relay (indoor). Mullins was named the United States Track & Field/Cross Country Coaches Association Indoor National Track Athlete of the Year in 1998. Mullins was also a part of two Wheaton track & field teams that were inducted into the Yowell Hall of Fame.
