NORTON, Mass. – Wheaton College (Mass.) artistic swimmers Sierra Bausemer (Plainville, Mass.), Renée Goldfinger (Hoboken, N.J.), Scout Lowrie (Franklin, N.J.), Olivia Macdonald (Toronto, Ont.) and Julie Mahoney (Andover, Mass.) were named to the 2026 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Artistic Swimming All-Academic Team, it was announced by the MPSF.
Honorees must have met the following criteria: earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 after the 2025 fall semester, achieved second year academic status at their institution, been a member of the varsity team for the entire season and competed in fifty percent or more of the institution's competition in the student-athlete's respective sport.
Goldfinger, Lowrie and Macdonald were named to the squad last season as well, while Bausemer and Mahoney earn All-Academic accolades for the first time.
Goldfinger is a junior Economics and Mathematics major and was also named to the US All-Collegiate Team. She placed sixth in the free solo at the US Collegiate Championship on March 28-29 at Stanford University to highlight her season. Lowrie is a junior Biology and Public Health Psychology major. She registered a season-best score of 59.4766 to place third in the C Figures at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championship on February 14-15 at host Stanford University and finished second in the C Figures at both the East Regional Championship on February 28 in Norton, Mass. and the New England Synchronized Swimming Association Figures Competition on November 16 in Norton. Macdonald is a senior Public Health major and finished fourth in the free solo at the US Collegiate Championship after placing as the runner-up in the category a few weeks earlier at the MPSF Championship meet.
Bausemer is a sophomore Business and Management major and placed second in the duet with first year Gabrielle Bausemer (Plainville, Mass.) at both the East Regional and the Wheaton Invitational. In addition, she recorded an eighth-place showing at the US Collegiate Championship in the C Figures and also finished as the runner-up at NESSA with a season-best tally of 59.6018 points. Mahoney joined Bausemer and Lowrie on Wheaton's top trio contingent, placing first at both the East Regional Championship and the Wheaton Invitational. The junior English major was consistently the Lyons' best competitor in the C Figures and finished third at the US Collegiate Championship, while placing first at both the East Regional and NESSA.
Wheaton placed third at the MPSF Championship as a team for their highest finish ever and also placed fifth at the US Collegiate Championship. Wheaton won the East Regional title for the 11th straight year.
