NORTON, Mass. — Wheaton College (Mass.) artistic swimmers Sierra Bausemer (Plainville, Mass.), Renée Goldfinger (Hoboken, N.J.), Olivia Macdonald (Toronto, Ont.), Julie Mahoney (Andover, Mass.) and Ava Salamone (Norristown, Pa.) were all named to the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Second Team, it was announced by the league.
Macdonald has been named All-MPSF three years in a row, including a First Team selection a year ago. Goldfinger was also tabbed to the All-MPSF First Team in 2025. Bausemer, Mahoney and Salamone are all first-time honorees. Macdonald and Goldfinger each compiled 35 championship points for the most of anyone chosen for the Second Team.
Macdonald placed second in the solo at the MPSF Championship on February 14 at host Stanford University with a score of 178.8138 points. The senior finished seventh in the Collegiate A Figures with a tally of 73.0424 and was part of the Lyons' team entry with Bausemer, Goldfinger, Mahoney and Salamone, in addition to first year Eldar Blazh (Weston, Mass.) and junior Scout Lowrie (Franklin, N.J.). Wheaton placed sixth in the team routine with a score of 122.1284.
Goldfinger finished fourth in the solo with a count of 167.0488 points and was 15th in the A Figures with a score of 48.7246 points for Wheaton. The junior combined with Salamone to finish fourth in the duo with a total of 171.8075 points.
Salamone placed fifth in the Collegiate B Figures with a score of 67.0561 points for the Lyons. The first year tallied 27 championship points.
Mahoney scored 60.4006 points to finish second in the Collegiate C Figures for Wheaton. The sophomore combined with Bausemer and Lowrie to rack up 106.0167 points to finish sixth in the trio. Mahoney finished the meet with 25 championship points.
Bausemer also scored points with a third-place effort in the C Figures with a mark of 59.4776 points. The sophomore piled up 24 championship points for the Lyons.
Wheaton returns to the pool on Sunday, February 22 when it hosts The Ohio State University and Boston University club for the Wheaton Invitational at 10:00 a.m.
