LEWISBURG, Pa. — The Wheaton College (Mass.) women's swimming & diving team has been selected by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America as a Scholar All-America Team for the Spring 2025 semester, it was announced by the CSCAA.
To qualify for this prestigious recognition, teams had to earn a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 during the Spring 2025 semester.
Samantha Barany, Executive Director of the CSCAA, praised the honorees, "These teams exemplify what it means to be true student-athletes. Their dedication to academic excellence, alongside their athletic commitments, is both impressive and inspiring. The CSCAA is proud to recognize and celebrate their hard work and achievement."
The Lyons boasted a 3.60 team GPA for the spring semester in Norton.
Wheaton women's swimming & diving saw 13 student-athletes register a 3.5 GPA or higher, including five team members with a perfect 4.0 grade point average.
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) – the first organization of college coaches in America - is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming & diving at the collegiate level.
Wheaton finished the dual-meet season with a 7-4 record, before placing third as a team at the NEWMAC Championship. The Lyons also qualified to compete at the NCAA Championship.
