LEWISBURG, Pa. — The Wheaton College (Mass.) men's swimming & diving team has been selected by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America as a Scholar All-America Team for the Spring 2025 semester, it was announced by the CSCAA.
To qualify for this prestigious recognition, teams had to earn a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 during the Spring 2025 semester.
Samantha Barany, Executive Director of the CSCAA, praised the honorees, "These teams exemplify what it means to be true student-athletes. Their dedication to academic excellence, alongside their athletic commitments, is both impressive and inspiring. The CSCAA is proud to recognize and celebrate their hard work and achievement."
The Lyons boasted a 3.55 team GPA and ranked 37th among all schools in NCAA Division III and among the top 25% of all schools in the nation. Wheaton was one of just 25 men's swimming & diving programs in Division III with 21 or more competitors to post a 3.55 or higher GPA.
Wheaton men's swimming & diving saw 14 student-athletes register a 3.5 GPA or higher.
Wheaton finished the dual meet season with a 2-7 record, before placing fifth at the New England Women's & Men's Athletic Conference Championship meet for its highest finish since 2017.
