MARLBOROUGH, Mass. — Wheaton College (Mass.) women's tennis players Haylee Doiron (Lowell, Mass.), Kara Greenlee (San Antonio, Texas), Alissa Ortiz (El Paso, Texas) and Taylor Wilson (Dover, N.H.) were named to the New England Women's & Men's Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Academic All-Conference team, it was announced by the league.

Honorees must have met the following criteria: earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0 scale or 4.35/5.0 scale after the 2024 fall semester, achieved second year academic status at their institution, and been a member of the varsity team for the entire season.

Doiron, Greenlee and Ortiz are all repeat selections from a year ago.

Doiron is a junior Biology major. The Burlington High School product saw action in five singles matches for the Lyons and posted a 1-2 record in doubles play. 

Greenlee is a junior Neuroscience major. The Ronald Reagan High School graduate posted a 4-13 record at number one singles and 6-11 at the top spot in doubles play. 

Ortiz is a junior Chemistry major. She is also a graduate of Ronald Reagan High School and was 4-11 in singles play at number three to go with a  6-11 mark in doubles with Greenlee.

Wilson is a sophomore Business Finance major. The Dover High School grad led Wheaton in victories with an 8-6 mark in singles play, including 7-4 at fifth singles, and recorded a 9-7 doubles mark to combine for a team-high 17 wins. 

The Lyons finished with a 6-12 overall record, including 3-5 in league action. Wheaton advanced to the NEWMAC Tournament, before bowing out in the opening round.
