Wheaton's number one doubles pairing of sophomore Jaime Galligo (Madrid, Spain) and first year Pablo Munoz (Paris, France) won the only game in doubles play for the Lyons in a 6-1 loss to the Beaver senior duo of Brady Anderson (Rochester, N.Y.) and Wesley Zhang (Staten Island, N.Y.). Babson junior Martin Mejia (Cali, Colombia) teamed with first year Edward Wang (Burr Ridge, Ill.) to shut out the Lyons' number three doubles team of sophomore Paul Berteaux (Courbevoie, France) and senior Daniel Bor (Seattle, Wash.), 6-0.

Galligo won seven games at first singles for Wheaton, but fell in the match to Lepsoe, 6-3, 6-4.

Anderson did not lose a game in the opening set at number two singles to Berteaux, 6-0, but Berteaux took three games off of his Beaver opponent in a 6-3 second set loss. Zhang cruised in the first set at third singles, 6-0, over Van Dyke, before taking the second frame, 6-2.

Sophomore Mattias Harrell (Oslo, Norway) dropped just one game in each set in a 6-1, 6-1 effort for Babson over Murray at fourth singles. The Beavers did not lose a game at fifth and sixth singles.
