ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Junior Michaina Loriston (Boston, Mass.) finished 18th this afternoon at the NCAA Division III Indoor Championship at Golisano Training Center in Rochester, N.Y.

Loriston posted a time of 7.71 in the afternoon's first heat of the 60-meter dash preliminaries to place fifth in her heat and 18th overall. The top eight qualifiers advance to tomorrow's final heat.

The Boston Preparatory product posted a school-record time of 7.53 on March 7 to qualify for the NCAA Championship.

Wheaton will now focus on the outdoor season and will compete again on March 29 when it takes part in the Black & Gold Invitational hosted by Bryant University in Smithfield, R.I.
