NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Wheaton College (Mass.) women's track and field team received All-Academic Team accolades from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, it was announced by the USTFCCCA.
Teams must meet the following criteria to be recognized by the USTFCCCA: A team must maintain a minimum 3.1 cumulative team grade point average on a 4.0 scale from the 2024-25 academic year through the most recent semester/quarter of all student-athletes who used a season of eligibility.
The Lyons posted a team GPA of 3.53 to earn All-Academic Team honors for the seventh straight year and ninth time in the last 10 seasons. Wheaton ranked among the top 47.4% of teams in the nation.
The Lyons placed fourth as a team at the NEWMAC Championship and also competed in two events at the NCAA Division III National Championship to cap the season.
