BOSTON, Mass. — The Wheaton College (Mass.) women's track & field team competed at the New England Division III Indoor Regional Championship today at The Track at New Balance in Boston, Mass.

Junior Michaina Loriston (Boston, Mass.) placed sixth in the 60-meter dash preliminaries with a personal-record time of 7.76 for the Lyons and will compete in the event's final heat tomorrow on the second day of the Championship meet. Junior Wendy Wooden (Sharon, Mass.) finished 12th with a time of 7.96 and senior Emily Zielinski (Orange, Conn.) also registered a personal-record mark in the event at 8.09 to finish 26th.

Wheaton's 4X200-meter relay team finished 10th with a mark of 1:46.88 behind Zielinski, sophomores Camille Connors (Woburn, Mass.) and Maya Thomas (Goffstown, N.H.) and first year Inez Medeiros (Fall River, Mass.). 

The Lyons will return to the track and field tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. in Boston.
