MEDFORD, Mass. -- Sophomore Jordan Pinnix (Manchester, Conn.) won the 60-meter hurdles to lead the Wheaton College (Mass.) men's track & field team at the Tufts Last Chance National Qualifier Meet, hosted by Tufts University at the Gantcher Family Sports & Convocation Center in Medford, Mass.
Pinnix posted a personal-record time of 8.38 to finish first in the 60-meter hurdles for the Lyons.
Sophomore Kelvin Peterson (Eliot, Maine) placed third in the 200 meters with a mark of 22.96 and finished eighth in the 60 meters with a time of 7.18 for Wheaton.
The Lyons return to the track when they begin the outdoor season in Myrtle Beach, S.C. at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational on Thursday, March 16 at 12:00 p.m.
