Norton, Mass. - March 27, 2021 - Saturday afternoon, in their first match of the 2021 season, the Lyons lost to visiting Babson College by a score of 9-0. Wheaton falls to 0-1 in New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) play.

The Lyons were lead in doubles by Ian Tracy (San Jose, Costa Rica) and Josh Anshuetz (West Bloomfield, Mich.) were close to earning a point in the No. 1 spot but ended up falling 6-8 to Jason Weisman and Parker Law.  Javier Esteban De Celis (Santa Cruz de la Sierra) was a bright spot for the Lyons in their singles' matches, as he took four games in the second set from his opponent Maxwell Conlin.

Wheaton returns to action on the road on Saturday, April 10 with another NEWMAC battle and a rematch against Babson at 10:30 A.M.
