Men's Tennis Falls to Babson 8-1

THE RUNDOWN:

The Wheaton College men's tennis team returned to New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) action Tuesday, falling to the Babson 8-1.
Prior to the start of the contest, the Lyons honored seniors Jeremiah Ryser and Nick Hotary.
The Lyons fell behind 2-0 in doubles before Ned Roosevelt and David Hernaez Sanz picked up an 8-7 (6) win over Dylan Pace and Tyler Zhang in No. 3 doubles.
Ryser nearly earned Wheaton a point in singles, winning his opening set against Zhang in the five spot 6-3. The senior then fell 6-0 in the second set before slipping 6-2 in the final spot.

UP NEXT: Wheaton will now wait for the rest of the NEWMAC contests to conclude to see their tournament seeding.
