SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Wheaton College men's tennis team fell 5-0 to Springfield College in New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Tournament play on Saturday afternoon.
The Lyons number one doubles team of David Gassen and Jeremiah Ryser came close to earning their team a point, falling 8-6 to Alex Romaine and Court Honda.
With a 3-0 lead, Springfield pulled out wins in No. 2 and No. 4 singles to seal the victory.
