CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Wheaton College men's tennis team fell 9-0 to MIT on Wednesday afternoon in New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) action.
The Engineers started the afternoon with a clean sweep in doubles action. Wheaton's best chance at a doubles point came from the No. 2 duo of Will White and Alden Zeff who fell 8-3.
David Gassen had the best singles outing for the Lyons, but fell to his competitor 6-3, 6-4 from the top spot. White fell 6-3, 6-3 from the No. 2 position.
Wheaton returns to the court on Thursday, April 14 at 3:30 at Stonehill College.
