NORTON, Mass. - The Wheaton College men's tennis team fell, 6-3, Monday to the Colby-Sawyer College Chargers in a non-conference match.
Juniors Tyler Butler and Alvaro de Landaluce won the lone doubles battle for the Lyons with an 8-4 victory over the Chargers' Ross Kenny and Andrew Peloquin.
First-year Jorge Aguirre Martinez sealed a 6-2, 6-2 win in singles for Wheaton when he topped Colby-Sawyer competitor Ryan Sawyer. First-year Ned Roosevelt registered the final victory for the Lyons in the match when he marked a 3-6, 6-4, 11-9 final.
