Feit, Sharon earn lone Lyons victory at No. 1 doubles
NORTON, Mass. – The Wheaton College men's tennis team dropped an 8-1 decision to No. 24 ranked Brandeis University on Sunday afternoon in non-conference action at the Clark Tennis Courts.
Wheaton sophomore Jonah Feit (Los Angeles, Calif./Milken Community) and senior co-captain Dan Sharon (Santa Monica, Calif./Brentwood School) picked up the Lyons lone victory on the afternoon with an 8-4 triumph at No. 1 doubles.
Sophomore Shreve Archer (Pebble Beach, Calif./Stevenson School) suffered a hard-fought loss at No. 5 singles by a score of 2-6, 6-4 and 7-10.
Wheaton (7-4, 2-1 NEWMAC) hosts Emerson College for a New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) match on Wednesday, April 9 at 4 p.m. No. 24 Brandeis (8-4) welcomes Bryant University to its campus next Wednesday at 3 p.m.
