NORTON, MA- The Wheaton College men's lacrosse team had four
players record at least two goals during a 12-9 victory over
visiting Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in a Pilgrim

The Lyons, who have won nine of their last 11 meetings with the
Engineers, evened their season record at 3-3, while MIT, which
played in just its third game since March 17, fell to 2-4.
Junior Ben Cederberg (Duxbury, MA/Duxbury)

(Waterbury Center, VT/Harwood Union) totaled three goals
and one assist, while freshman Christopher Rullan (Wexford,

advantage by the 7:04 mark of the second period before the
Engineers mounted a comeback. MIT scored four of the
quarter's final five goals, including two on man-up chances, to
trail 6-4 at the intermission.
The visitors brought the deficit to one on three occasions in
the third, including making the score 8-7 with 18 ticks left on
Piemont's unassisted tally, but Wheaton began the fourth with three
unanswered goals in a 4:15 span for an 11-7 lead with 10:01
remaining. After the teams traded man-up tallies to make it
12-8, Sisler completed the scoring at 1:01.
