after scoring twice this afternoon. Classmate

balls, jumped out to a 7-1 advantage by the 4:23 mark of the second
quarter. Landers found Schaffer for a man-up goal with 3:18
to play before the break, as the Blue and White trailed the Pride
by a 7-2 count at halftime.
The Lyons hung with the hosts in the second half, scoring four
of the stanza's nine goals, but fell behind 10-3 as Springfield
rattled off three of the first four third-period tallies.
Sophomore Charlie Willauer's (Duxbury, MA/Proctor
Academy) goal with 1:29 left in the third made the score
10-4 before the Pride opened the fourth frame with two quick
markers for the game's largest advantage at 12-4. Wheaton
found the back of the net twice more on man-up chances in the final
11:59 to complete the scoring.
The Lyons will face their toughest test of the season on Monday
when they head to undefeated and nationally-ranked Connecticut
College in New London at 4:30 p.m. The Camels are ranked
