BOSTON, Mass. — Senior Jordan Pinnix (Manchester, Conn.) placed fifth in the 60-meter hurdles and junior Kai Hillier (Hinesburg, Vt.) finished sixth in the 3000 meters with a school-record time to lead the Wheaton College (Mass.) men's track & field team today at the New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association Indoor Championship at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center in Roxbury, Mass.
The Lyons scored eight points to tie for 18th as a team in the meet that featured schools from NCAA Division I, II and III, while University of Rhode Island tallied 127 points to win the crown.
Pinnix posted a time of 8.44. Hillier broke his own school standard with a mark of 8:30.84.
Senior Kelvin Peterson (Eliot, Maine) turned in a time of 7.05 to place eighth in the 60-meter dash for Wheaton.
The meet was the last of the indoor season for the Lyons.
