GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Wheaton College (Mass.) women's swimming team competed this morning at the preliminaries on Day One of the NCAA Division III National Championship at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, N.C.

Junior Garin Stone (Barrington, R.I.) turned in a time of 5:09.51 to place 42nd in the 500-yard freestyle. Senior Reese Hartmann (Grand Rapids, Mich.) posted a personal-best time of 24.09 to finish 48th in the 50-yard freestyle for the Lyons.

Wheaton returns to the pool tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. when Stone competes in the 200-yard freestyle prelims.
