THE RUNDOWN:
- The Wheaton College women's lacrosse team was led by senior Kyra Schwartzman who had six goals while first year Jessie Kilburn added five. Lilly Callahan scored four goals for the Lyons and Casey Kaplan had a hattrick. Maggie Dymes, Molly Covarrubias, and Danielle Trudeau each contributed one goal apiece in the Lyons victory.
- Erin Ortega picked up a five ground balls, while Kilburn led the Lyons with eight draw controls.
- Keene State College was led by Haile Ratajack, Erica Chareth, Ali Daisy and Tess Masci who all had two goals, Brigid Casey netted one in the Owls loss.
- The Lyons opened up the game strong scoring 16 goals in the first half to put Wheaton ahead 16 to 4. The Keene State Owls fought back in the second half with goals at 28:49, 18:29 and 16:29 to make the score 16 to seven but it wouldn't be enough to stop the Lyons as they continued to control the clock, running it down to solidify their first win at home.
- Both sides battled defensively throughout the game, with Keene State's Brigid Casey picking up six draw controls, whole Haile Ratajack and Katie Moorehead both tallying two caused turnovers for the Owls.
- Emily Oundjian picked up the win in net for the Lyons, coming up with seven saves after seeing 16 shots.
