FULLERTON, Calif. - The Wheaton College women's tennis team opened its spring season in California on Tuesday with a 9-0 victory over Fullerton College.

In doubles action, sophomore Ines de Bracamonte and Isabelle Garvanne earned an 8-4 victory in the No. 1 spot. At No. 2, first-year Harley Swainston and sophomore Connor O'Keefe registered an 8-1 final while sophomore Olivia Donovan  and senior Michelle Trainor tallied an 8-2 win.

On the singles side, de Bracamonte continued her streak in the No. 1 spot with a 6-2, 6-0 victory. The next four positions followed right behind with wins from Garvanne (No. 2) 6-4, 6-3, O'Keefe (No. 3) 6-0, 6-0, Swainston (No. 4) 6-3, 6-4, Dovovan (No. 5) 6-4, 6-0 and Trainor (No. 6).

The Lyons battle Occidental College next on Wednesday with match time slated for 7:00 p.m. EST.
