Box Score WORCESTER, Mass. - The Wheaton College men's soccer team broke their seven-game win streak on Saturday when they took on the Worcester Polytechnic Institute Engineers and fell, 2-1.
The Lyons (7-3, 1-1 NEWMAC) defense immediately act quickly as the Engineers (8-1-1, 2-0 NEWMAC) fired shots in the opening minutes of the game.
In the third minute, WPI headed in the first goal in the top of the net.
Sean Hurlburt found Amara Sesay in the 42nd minute as he headed in a goal for Wheaton, tying the game.
In the second half, Sesay and Shawn Suzuki put up shots for Wheaton, but couldn't break through with a goal.
It was in the 72nd minute when WPI found the net one more time and put up their second goal, taking the lead, 2-1.
Goalkeeper James Bailey tallied four saves.
