RICHMOND, Va. – The Wheaton College (Mass.) women's swimming & diving team has been selected by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America as a Scholar All-America Team for the Spring 2026 semester, it was announced by the CSCAA.

To qualify for this prestigious recognition, teams had to earn a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 during the Spring 2026 semester.

Samantha Barany, Executive Director of the CSCAA, praised the honorees, "This recognition celebrates the remarkable commitment these student-athletes make to excellence both in the classroom and in competition," said Barany. "The 714 teams honored this spring represent the very best of collegiate swimming and diving, demonstrating that academic success and athletic achievement go hand in hand. We congratulate every student-athlete, coach, and institution recognized."

The Lyons boasted a 3.66 team GPA for the spring semester in Norton. Wheaton's team GPA ranked 44th in NCAA Division III with just 28 schools owning a higher GPA with a larger roster than the Lyons' total of 18. 

Wheaton women's swimming & diving saw 13 student-athletes register a 3.5 GPA or higher, including four team members with a perfect 4.0 grade point average.

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) – the first organization of college coaches in America - is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming & diving at the collegiate level.

The Lyons finished the season with a 3-9 dual meet record and placed seventh at the New England Women's & Men's Athletic Conference Championship. The Lyons also competed at the NCAA Championship meet in Indianapolis, Ind.
