Hillier Named to 2025 USTFCCCA Men's Cross Country All-Region Team

NEW ORLEANS, La. — Wheaton College (Mass.) men's cross country runner Kai Hillier (Hinesburg, Vt.) was named to the 2025 Men's Cross Country All-Region Team by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, it was announced today by the USTFCCCA.

Athletes earned All-Region distinction by virtue of a top-35 finish at one of the ten regional sites this past weekend. Only athletes from USTFCCCA member institutions are eligible for awards.

Hillier became the first Lyon to earn All-Region status since Dominic Sclafani '22 in 2021. 

The senior placed 25th at the NCAA Division III East Region Championship hosted by Suffolk University at the Hopkinton Fairgrounds in Hopkinton, N.H. on November 15. The Champlain Valley Union High School product turned in a personal-record time of 24:31.6 on the eight-kilometer course. 

The Business and Management major finished 20th at the New England Women's & Men's Athletic Conference Championship with a time of 26:34.8 on November 1 on the Mark Coogan Cross Country Course at a windy Highland Park in Attleboro, Mass. Hillier battled injury throughout the season, but managed to open the season with a time of 16:30.1 to place 31st in the five-kilometer race at the Suffolk Short Course Classic on August 30. 

Wheaton finished 16th as a team at the NCAA Regional Championship and sixth at the NEWMAC Championship.
