KEENE, N.H. — The Wheaton College (Mass.) men's cross country team placed 26th this morning at the Keene State Invitational hosted on the Keene State College campus in Keene, N.H. 
The Lyons totalled 739 points in the eight-kilometer race, with Williams College placing first with 31 points, bolstered by five runners all placing in the top ten. The individual title was won by Tufts University junior Jonah Reisner (Brooklyn, NY) with a time of 24:12.20.
First year Nolan Bushnell (Rochester, Mass.) placed 196th overall to lead Wheaton. Bushnell finished his 8K debut in a time of 29:33.80, followed by sophomore Nathan Pires (Yarmouth, Maine) with a 29:52.50 time that placed him 204th. Senior Lucas MacKenzie (Saint Albans, Vt.) followed up in 210th place with a clip of 30:02.00, with first year Kayden Chhoun (Wilbraham, Mass.) trailing close behind in 30:18.60 for 214th place. First year Jack Kittredge (Broad Brook, Conn.) finished up the scoring for the Lyons with a time of 30:42.90, earning him 228th place.
Wheaton returns to racing on Friday, October 10 at the Hopkinton Cross Country Festival in Hopkinton, NH at 2:45 PM.
