DEDHAM, Mass. -- The Wheaton College (Mass.) men's track & field team competed in three different events at the New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association Outdoor Championship at Northeastern University's Solomon Track & Field Facility.

Sophomore Jordan Pinnix (Manchester, Conn.) placed 16th among Division I, II and III competitors and sixth against Division III schools with a time of 15.20 in the 110-meter hurdle preliminaries, while senior Matthew Cahill (Brewster, Mass.) finished 17th and seventh with a mark of 15.23 for the Lyons.

Sophomore Kelvin Peterson (Eliot, Maine) recorded a time of 22.63 to place 18th/seventh in the 200 meters for Wheaton. The Lyons' 4X100-meter relay of seniors Justin Hart (Queens, N.Y.) and Anthony Almas (Marstons Mills, Mass.), first year GJ Mualis (Taunton, Mass.) and Peterson combined for a time of 42.97 to place 10th among Division III schools and 20th overall. 

Wheaton will compete again on Thursday, May 18th at the National Qualifying Meet hosted by Massachusetts Institute of Technology at 4:00 p.m. in Cambridge, Mass.
