THE RUNDOWN:
- The Wheaton College women's tennis team fell to MIT 8-1 Tuesday afternoon in New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) action.
- Wheaton's best chance at a doubles point came in the No. 1 position from Ines de Bracamonte and Miriam Galindo Cerrada who put up a fight against Libby Rickeman and V. Tabunshchyk. Unfortunately for the Lyon pair, they ultimately fell 8-6.
- The Lyons lone point came from de Bracamonte who took on Rickman in single. The Wheaton senior had her hands full, falling 7-5 in the opening set but managed to bounce back, taking the second set 6-2. In the deciding set, it was de Bracamonte who came out victorious winning 10-5.
