THE RUNDOWN:  

• The Wheaton College women's tennis team fell to Babson College 6-3 Tuesday evening in New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) action at the Clark Tennis Courts.  
• The Lyons battled for points in doubles but were unable to over power the Beavers, who came away with the sweep. Connor O'Keefe and Harley Swainston forced a tie-breaker in their match (No. 3 - 8-7(5) while Ines de Bracamonte and Isabelle Garvanne dropped their set 8-6. 
• de Bracamonte kept her NEWMAC singles unbeaten streak alive with a 7-5, 6-2 win over Carolina Merz in the top spot. 
• Wheaton also got a point from Allison Burton who won No. 5 single 7-5 (7), 6-2 over Mary Kille. 
• Swainston earned the Lyons third point, earning a convincing 6-4, 6-0 win as the six.
