THE RUNDOWN:
- Katie Peters, Molly Covarrubias, and Kyra Schwartzman each scored a goal for the Lyons. Peters also picked up one ground ball as did Schwartzman.
- Springfield was led by Amanda Nusbaum, Kayla Schroeher and Ann Mahoney who each recorded two goals apiece for the Pride.
- Springfield opened the game up with a goal at 28:01, but Wheaton was able to respond shortly after with a goal from Peters at 26:20. The Pride controlled the rest of the half, scoring four more times to make it 5-1 at intermission.
- Wheaton started the second half off strong with Covarrubias and Schwartzman finding the back of the net at 25:06 and 19:07, but it wouldn't be enough as Springfield was able to score late to finish the game 7-3.
- Senior Goalkeeper Molly Witten recorded 18 saves in the loss.
- Wheaton held the advantage in draw controls, 7-5.
