THE RUNDOWN:

Senior Ryan Fogarty led all players in scoring with a career-high 31 points, going 8-11 from the line. Fogarty also grabbed six rebounds and contributed three assists with one steal.
Junior Duaka Ekwensi scored 17 points and grabbed eight rebounds while David Carbonello had a career-high five steals and 16 points.
The first half started off hot with both teams trading back-to-back baskets. As the half came to an end, Babson managed to break free and go up 47-41.
Babson was led by Nick Comenale who scored 23 points going 4-4 from the line while grabbing seven rebounds. The Beavers also found help from Brandon Johnson who scored 14 points and Shyheim Ulrickson who put up 12.
In the second half, Wheaton was able to hold Babson scoreless for the opening three and half minutes. The run helped propel the Lyons as they outscored the Beavers 48-30 in the half, ending the game at 89-77.
The Lyons were able to score 23 points off of turnovers while the Beavers only managed seven.
The loss snaps Babson's 27 game road winning streak against NEWMAC opponents as well as the Beavers 16 game winning streak over the Lyons.
