THE RUNDOWN:
- Senior Ryan Fogarty led all players in scoring with a career-high 31 points, going 8-11 from the line. Fogarty also grabbed six rebounds and contributed three assists with one steal.
- Junior Duaka Ekwensi scored 17 points and grabbed eight rebounds while David Carbonello had a career-high five steals and 16 points.
- The first half started off hot with both teams trading back-to-back baskets. As the half came to an end, Babson managed to break free and go up 47-41.
- Babson was led by Nick Comenale who scored 23 points going 4-4 from the line while grabbing seven rebounds. The Beavers also found help from Brandon Johnson who scored 14 points and Shyheim Ulrickson who put up 12.
- In the second half, Wheaton was able to hold Babson scoreless for the opening three and half minutes. The run helped propel the Lyons as they outscored the Beavers 48-30 in the half, ending the game at 89-77.
- The Lyons were able to score 23 points off of turnovers while the Beavers only managed seven.
- The loss snaps Babson's 27 game road winning streak against NEWMAC opponents as well as the Beavers 16 game winning streak over the Lyons.
