MARLBOROUGH, Mass. — Four Wheaton College (Mass.) student-athletes have been named to the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference 2025-26 Winter All-Sportsmanship Team, it was announced by the NEWMAC.
The award is intended to recognize one student-athlete from each institution in every sport that best demonstrates the ideals of the NEWMAC and its Code of Conduct, regardless of their overall performance or statistics for the season.
Senior women's swimmer Grace Chin (Blooming Grove, N.Y.), senior women's basketball player Madeline Duwe (Greenville, S.C.), senior men's basketball player Sal Pedevillano (Parsippany, N.J.) and sophomore men's swimmer Koby Wulfmeyer (New Paltz, N.Y.) were all selected to the team for the Lyons.
Chin registered six top-five finishes during the season, including third place in the 400-yard individual medley and fifth place in both the 50 and 100-yard breaststroke events against Bridgewater State University on November 1. Duwe started all four games that she appeared in, before suffering a season-ending injury. She finished her career with 302 points, including 56 three-point field goals. Pedevillano saw action in all 26 games, while making four starts and was a valuable contributor off the bench with 4.9 points, while shooting 35.5% from three-point range to rank 18th in the conference. Wulfmeyer placed 19th at the NEWMAC Championship in the 100-yard breaststroke to score points for the Lyons. He posted five personal-best times during the season and recorded eight top-five finishes.
