WALTHAM, Mass. - The Wheaton College women's tennis team dropped, 8-0, against the Brandeis University Judges Sunday afternoon in a non-conference matchup.
The Judges earned 8-3, 8-1 and 8-1 victories in doubles action to open the match.
In singles, the Lyons tried to fight back, but fell short as No. 1 sophomore Ines de Bracamonte fell 6-4, 7-6 (7-2), No. 2 first-year Isabelle Garvanne dropped 6-2, 6-0 and No. 3 sophomore Connor O'Keefe lost 6-0, 6-0 while first-year Harley Swainston and senior Michelle Trainor also fell to their competition.
Wheaton competes next on Saturday as they host Simmons with match time set for 4 p.m.
