THE RUNDOWN:  

• Both teams played tough defensively to start the contest, as the game remained scoreless through the first 51 minutes. 
• Wheaton struck first at 51:50, as senior captain Megan Healy slipped a through ball past the WPI defenders to an open Hannah Lepordo for a breakaway goal.
• The Lyons' glory was short-lived, however, as Becca Hapgood knotted the game just 93 seconds later. 
• After 24:48 minutes of back-and-forth transactions, Lepordo deposited the game-winner thanks to Healy yet again. 
• Sophomore goalie Alexa Barbagallo tallied her 7th win of the season with two saves on the day. 
• Gabriela Hoops stopped three in the final contest of the Engineers' 2017 campaign. 
• Kristen McCrea led all players with 6 shots, while Lepordo led the Lyons with 5. 
• Saturday's semifinal appearance will mark the 20th consecutive NEWMAC semifinal contest for the Wheaton women's soccer program.
