THE RUNDOWN:
- Mount Holyoke struck first, netting the games opening goal in the 29th minute when Minerva Veeser-Bobea scored on a deflected save by Leann Wolf. Jentrie Grissom fired off the shot that would be saved and find its way to Vesser-Bobea's foot.
- Wheaton countered in the 35th minute with Lily Scammon's second goal of the season. First-year Hannah Lepordo picked up the assist after crossing the ball into the box where it found Scammon crashing.
- Wheaton took its first lead of the game in the 61st minute when a Caren McCarthy goal found Megan Healy in the six-yard box.
- Lepordo netted what would prove to be the game-winning goal in the 63rd minute when she dribbled past the Mount Holyoke keeper and calmly placed the ball into the net. The goal is Lepordo's team-leading ninth of the season.
- Aymara O'Brien-Pappalardo scored the final goal of the game in the 71st minute when she fired off a shot from the top corner of the 18-yard box.
- Vesser-Bobea added one more goal for the visiting Lyons in the final minute of the game after collecting the ball in the midfield and taking it to goal.
- Wolf played 68:07 in net for Wheaton, making four saves, while Alexa Barbagallo saw 21:53 minutes.
- Amanda Manaster picked up the loss for Mount Holyoke after making 12 saves in 90 minutes of work.
