Box Score NORTON, Mass. - Junior Rebecca Olivieri was named to the Cheryl Warren-Powers '95 Memorial Tip-Off All-Tournament Team on Saturday afternoon for her performance for the Lyons in their first two games of the season. Wheaton fell to visiting Framingham State 87-63, who earned its first tip-off tournament title.
The Lyons were led by 12 points from Jill Bodreau, who finished 4-8 from the floor to include draining three three-point baskets. Senior Sophia Black came off the bench to net 11 points for the Lyons, while collecting six rebounds and three assists. Oppie Morris knocked down nine points, while Ruthie Zientek finished with eight. Both players collected a team-high seven boards.
The Rams had five players end the contest in double-figures, including a game-high 19 from all-tournament selection Alycia Rackliffe. Lauren Donahue ended the evening with the games only double-double, scoring 13 points, while dishing out 10 assists. Raegan Mulherin scored 17 points and tournament most valuable player Monta Connolly scored 16.
Wheaton's bench had a solid night, scoring 29 of the teams 63 points. The Lyons took care of the ball from the free-throw line, finishing .727 compared to the Rams .182.
Framingham State came out with a fast paced offense that kept Wheaton on its heals the entire contest. The Rams struck first with a quick basket from Sarah Palace and never looked back, maintaining possession of the lead throughout.

Wheaton returns to the court on Tuesday, Nov. 22 at 6 p.m. for a tough match-up at #1 Tufts. The Jumbos, who played in last years NCAA Division III title game, were picked as the top-ranked team in the country in the D3hoops.com preseason poll.
The 5th Annual Cheryl Warren-Powers '95 Tournament that helps support Cheryl's twins Jordan and Craig. Warren-Powers, who passed away on May 22, 2012, was a standout athlete at Wheaton.
