Box Score BRISTOL, R.I. – The Wheaton College men's basketball team hit the road on Tuesday night for a non-conference contest against Roger Williams, which saw the Hawks pull out a 65-47 victory.
The loss drops the Lyons to 3-2 on the season, while Roger Williams improves to 2-2. The Hawks and Lyons have now split the last five games in the series, though RWU has taken five of the last seven matchups between the two.
Quinton Dale paced Wheaton with a game-high 21 points, while also collecting nine boards. Timothy Berry chipped in with four points, eight rebounds, and three blocks. Ryan Fogarty and Billy Battaglia each added six points and three boards.
Alex Puzone finished with 16 points and six rebounds for RWU. Jaylen Jennings added 13 points and nine rebounds off the bench, while Trevor Fahmy had a solid defensive outing with 10 rebounds and four blocks.
The Hawk defense stymied the Lyons offensive attack throughout the night, holding Wheaton to only 19.0% shooting (12-for-63), including a 4-for-30 performance (13.3%) in the first half.
RWU's offense stalled as well, finishing at a 33.9% clip (19-for-56). However, the Hawks were aided by 54 rebounds in the game, as well as 20 free throws in the second half. 
Wheaton returns to action on Tuesday, Dec. 1 at home against Framingham State in the Emerson Gymnasium.
