Allison Chernow

Allison Chernow is in her third year on staff with the Wheaton College Women's Basketball program as an Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator for the 2022-23 season.

The Dresher, Pennsylvania native comes to Norton after a stellar playing career at Emory University. Chernow was a four-year member of the women's basketball team at Emory, where she was a two-time University Athletic Association Second Team All-Conference selection. During her time with the Eagles, she helped Emory reach the NCAA Tournament during the 2018-19 season. Chernow gained national recognition early in her junior campaign, being named the D3hoops.com National Team of the Week and the United States Basketball Writers Association National Player of the Week after averaging 32.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and added a steal in a pair of games. The guard graduated sixth all-time in both three-point field goals and assists in Emory history.

In addition to her collegiate success, Chernow won a Gold Medal with Team USA at the 2017 World Maccabiah Games hosted in Israel. 

Chernow broadened her experience within athletics, serving as an Intern for the Temple University Department of Athletics and was also a Marketing Intern with the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) Football team.

Chernow earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Studies at Emory in 2020.
