Biography

2024 SEASON: Started all 38 games ... Tied for the team lead with 35 runs scored and dramatically improved his plate discipline with 23 walks to rank second on the team and contribute to a .395 on-base percentage ... Batted .275 (39-142) and knocked in 17 runs to go with four doubles and seven stolen bases in eight attempts ... Hit safely in 27 of 38 games and ended the season with a season-long nine-game hitting streak going 14-35 for a .400 clip, while driving in five runs, scoring six times, stealing two bases and rapping out a double ... Reached base via a hit or walk in all but five games ... Posted 10 multi-hit games and registered his first collegiate four-hit game, going 4-6 with a double, two RBI and three runs scored in the New England Women's & Men's Athletic Conference Tournament vs. Worcester Polytechnic Institute on May 7.

2023 SEASON: Missed just over a month of time with an injury, but still enjoyed a breakout season, batting .343 (35-102) and started 29 of 30 games in right field ... Hit safely in 23 of 30 games and was hitless in consecutive games just once, while reaching base via hit or walk in all but three games ... Posted a .402 on-base percentage and led the team with seven sacrifice hits, which placed him second in the conference ... Knocked in 13 runs and scored 18 times to go with four stolen bases and four doubles ... Excelled in the post-season, hitting safely in a season-long 10 straight games, going 16-34  (.471) with six multi-hit efforts, seven runs batted in, seven runs scored and a pair of doubles during Wheaton's run in the NEWMAC Championship Tournament, the NCAA Regional and the NCAA Super Regional from May 7-27 ... Was 8-19 (.421) with five RBI, two runs scored, two stolen bases and a double in the NCAA Regional ... Helped spark the Lyons to a 4-2 victory over Benedictine (Ill.) with a three-run double on March 18.

2022 SEASON: Saw action in 21 games ... Batted .250 (3-12) with a walk and posted a .357 on-base percentage ... Rapped out a pair of doubles to contribute to a .417 slugging percentage and knocked in four runs ... Scored five runs and stole a base ... Made his collegiate debut with a pinch-hit RBI double and also scored a run in a 16-3 victory over Nichols College on March 8 ... Drove in a pair of runs with a fielder's choice and after being hit by a pitch with the bases loaded in a 13-3 win at Bridgewater State University on March 22 ... Started in center field and doubled in a run and scored to go with a base on balls in a 22-2 win against Emerson College on April 23 ... Went 1-2 with a run scored in a 16-1 win at Amherst College on March 25.

2021 SEASON: Did not compete in any contests during shortened season due to COVID-19.

BEFORE WHEATON: Graduated from Hopkinton High School in 2020 ... Three-year letterwinner in baseball and basketball for the Hillers ... Named a Tri-Valley League Baseball All-Star following his junior season for HHS ... Chosen a Captain for both baseball and basketball at Hopkinton High School ... Helped the Hillers reach the Baseball D2 Championship Game as a junior and was a part of the HHS basketball team that advanced to the Section Championship as a senior ... Member of National Honors Society at HHS ... Played baseball for Milford American Legion.
