2021 [SOPHOMORE]: In shortened season due to COVID-19 he appeared in four games... made colegiate debut on 3/20 vs. Emerson recording one hit in two at bats... batted .222 on the year while scoring his lone run against WPI on 5/2.

2020 [FIRST-YEAR]: Did not compete before the season was canceled.

BEFORE WHEATON: Graduated from Exeter High School in 2019 ... Two-year letterwinner in baseball in addition to playing football for the Blue Hawks ... Named Division 1 First Team All State for EHS baseball as a senior ... Helped the Blue Hawks capture the Baseball State Championship as a junior ... Named to the Honor Roll at Exeter High School.  

PERSONAL: Born October 31, 2000 ... Majoring in Economics with a minor in Spanish at Wheaton ... Son of Christine and Michael Wirtanen ... Has two siblings Nick and Jacob ... Chose to play baseball at Wheaton because of the great education and competitive baseball.
