RICHMOND, Va. – The Wheaton College (Mass.) men's swimming & diving team has been selected by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America as a Scholar All-America Team for the Spring 2026 semester, it was announced by the CSCAA.

To qualify for this prestigious recognition, teams had to earn a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 during the Spring 2026 semester.

Samantha Barany, Executive Director of the CSCAA, praised the honorees, "This recognition celebrates the remarkable commitment these student-athletes make to excellence both in the classroom and in competition," said Barany. "The 714 teams honored this spring represent the very best of collegiate swimming and diving, demonstrating that academic success and athletic achievement go hand in hand. We congratulate every student-athlete, coach, and institution recognized."

The Lyons posted a 3.49 team GPA for the spring semester at Wheaton. The team's GPA placed it 48th in NCAA Division III with just 30 schools owning a higher GPA with a larger roster than the Lyons' count of 20. 

Wheaton men's swimming & diving boasted 13 student-athletes with a 3.5 GPA or higher, including five team members with a perfect 4.0 grade point average.

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) – the first organization of college coaches in America - is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming & diving at the collegiate level.

The Lyons owned a 4-6 dual meet record for the season and finished fifth at the NEWMAC Championship with 625 points for their highest-point tally since 2014.
