Henn was on target for the majority of the night, putting away 10 kills against just two errors, fueled by an impressive .421 hitting clip. She added two aces and three digs. Sophomore middle hitter Julia Wingler (Fuquay Varina, N.C.) made the most of her swings with seven kills in 10 attempts for a torrid .700 hitting mark to go with a pair of digs and a block assist. First year libero Jackie Hochberg (Tampa, Fla.) was equally effective on the defensive side of the net for the visitors with a match-best 18 digs and added an ace.

First year outside hitter Sarah Bartels (Fort Collins, Colo.) led Keene State with eight kills, while senior middle blocker Veronica Kroha (Newtown, Conn.) contributed with five kills, a dig and a block assist. First year setter Alexis Small (Londonderry, N.H.) fired a match-high three aces and set for 17 assists to go with seven digs, while sophomore outside hitter Gigi Stake (Bedford, N.H.) got down for 13 digs.

Wheaton maintained a 6-3 margin, before putting together a 14-5 stretch, including a trio of kills from Henn, to take a commanding 20-8 advantage. The Lyons led 21-10, before scoring four straight points to close out the set, including a kill from Lyon to cap the frame.

Wheaton jumped out to a 4-1 lead in the second frame, behind a pair of kills from Lyon, before the Owls scored three points to cut the deficit to 8-7. The Lyons countered with five unanswered points as part of an 11-4 run to give them a 19-11 lead. Lyon put down three kills during the stretch. Wheaton took its largest lead of the frame at 22-13, before senior middle hitter Megan Kelleher (Wethersfield, Conn.) spiked for a kill to end the set at 25-16 and give the Lyons a 2-0 lead in the match.

As in the first two sets, Keene State began the frame in a hole as Wheaton scored the first four points, including a pair of kills from sophomore middle hitter Hollis Hanson (Parker, Colo.). Bartels found the floor for a kill to pull the Owls to within 11-9, but the Lyons scored six of the next seven points, behind a pair of kills from Lyon, to take a 17-10 cushion. Wheaton later held a 22-17 margin and looked primed to cruise to a third-set win, but Keene State came alive with five unanswered points, including a pair of kills from Kroha and Bartels, to even the frame at 22-22. The Lyons shook off the challenge and scored the final three points to close out the set and the match.

Wheaton returns to action on Tuesday, October 31 when it hosts Emerson College for a New England Women's & Men's Athletic Conference match at Emerson Gymnasium on Tuesday, October 31 at 7:00 p.m. The Owls are in action again on October 28 when they travel to Providence, R.I. to take on Little East Conference rival Rhode Island College at 11:00 a.m.
