LOCATION: Clermont, Fla.
THE RUNDOWN:
- Bates jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the top of the 1st inning on 3 hits.
- Wheaton almost responded in the bottom of the 1st inning after two singles from Hannah Arkin and Madyson Bendanillo but the Lyons were unable to score either of them.
- Bates added to their lead in the top of the 5th with 2 RBI singles to extend their lead to 4-0.
- Bates added an insurance run in the top of the 7th on an RBI single to give them a 5-0 victory over the Lyons.
THE BASICS:
- Sarah Pritchard pitched a complete game while striking out 6 batters.
- Arkin went 1-for-3 with a single.

- The Lyons scored the lone run of the game in the top of the 6th inning. Lexi Lovell singled and advanced to second on an error. Lilly Laganiere was brought in as a pinch-runner and scored on another error committed by Plymouth St.
THE BASICS:
- Emma Candelaria pitcher 7 scoreless innings allowing only 2 hits and 1 walk while striking out 2 batters.
