- The Lyons dropped a tightly contested game against the Garnet of Swarthmore College in game two, falling 2-1 when all was said and done.
- Wheaton finished the contest with just two hits, which came from senior Jade Assad and sophomore Riley Benedetto. Assad also got the start in the circle for the Lyons, collecting the loss after surrendering both Garnet runs in 2.2 innings of work.
- Both Swarthmore runs came in the bottom of the third inning as did two of the teams six hits.
- Wheaton only managed to earn one run back, with Lindsay Whittles scoring on a bases-loaded fielder's choice by Katelyn Barton in the top of the sixth.
