• The Wheaton College volleyball team opened the Hall of Fame Invitational Friday evening with a 3-1 win over Roger Williams. The Lyons won the opening set before slipping in the second. Wheaton rallied back to take the final two sets, earning the victory. 
• Wheaton was led by 16 kills from Julia Palomba who finished with a .343 hitting percentage, while also coming up with 11 digs and a block. 
• Becca Houghton finished with 43 assists and 11 digs to go with four aces and four blocks. 
• Adara Hamilton led the Lyons with 22 digs to go with six kills. Casey Dinga chipped in nine kills in the win, while Bailey Madrzyk finished with eight and Haley McCreight earned seven.

• Wheaton returned to the court later in the night, facing off against Dean, earning a commanding 3-0 victory.
• Houghton and Emily Hickey each finished with eight kills. Hannah George ended the match with a career-high six aces, while Hamilton ended the contest with four.
