- Jade Assad had a stellar performance for the Lyons, batting 3-for-4 while scoring three runs.
- Shelbi Wilson and Clara DeCarvalho each had two hits and a run while Lily Ongkiko, Lindsay Whittles, Jessica Nardozza, and Rebekah Lajoie each picked up an RBI.
- Hannah Arkin and Chloe Woodward each crossed home plate once.
- Clark started the game off with a run in the bottom of the second before Wheaton was able to score six runs over three innings, holding the Cougars scoreless during that time to make the game 6-1.
- The Cougars got back on the board in the fifth with two runs, putting the scoreline at 6-4.
- The Lyons answered in the seventh with two runs from DeCarvalho and Assad to set the game at 8-4.
- The Cougars fought back in the bottom of the seventh, but it wouldn't be enough to push past the Lyons early led.
- Pitcher Allison Cox picked up the win, with Assad coming in for relief in the fourth inning, picking up the save.
